It Requires Courage To Take Action

Have courage and be comfortable with yourself - and your business.

Courage is hugely important in taking actions - regardless of what the outcome might be. Of course, you should have an idea of the potential outcome of an action, and that will steer your decision - but taking that action will always be better than inaction.

This is particularly important when wanting to start something new. It does indeed take a lot of courage just to start. And courage will be called upon constantly throughout your continued efforts.

Be resilient, be brave and take action.

Other times when courage is needed in pouncing on opportunities. Having the strength to grab an opportunity could be the difference between heading on a thrilling journey or just staying exactly where you are. This applies to your personal life, in business and as a business owner!

Employers will prefer to employ the person that tries and fails than the person who wouldn't try at all. Clients would rather work with a supplier that wants to help them push innovation or try something new, rather than offer the minimum, safe solution which could make them a commodity. People want to work with courageous people!

But courage doesn't always come naturally.

Imposter syndrome - particularly in a professional space is a huge internal problem.

“What gives me the right to state this opinion?”, “Why should someone care about what I think?” - these kinds of questions are purely manifested internally - and can be huge blockers to having courage and taking action. We’re in a world where anxiety and other conditions are more and more prevalent. Many times you can become your own worst enemy and your biggest critic.

Be courageous, be comfortable in yourself. You can be truly remarkable if you grab the opportunities that present themselves to you. Go further and find your own opportunities. Make decisions - courageous decisions - decisions that you're comfortable with - ones that you know are the right things to do.
